A Fairy Tale - The 100 Acre Wood arrives at the Cambridge Sixes

The Mythical MermaidsOnce upon a time there were great celebrations at the Sir Don Rowlands centre at Lake Karapiro. It was a sixth birthday party of Cambridge SIXES. Characters reminiscent of AA Milne’s Christopher Robin stories arrived from all over the North Island including TARAWAKI! Supervised by SUPERMAN and BATGIRL, the AKARANA POLICE ACADEMY and the UNDERCOVER AGENTS were there to keep control of THE MOB, the REVOLTING REVOLUTIONARIES, the GLADIATORS and the DEALERS.The Bridge Mates THE PIRATES were following the NORTHERN STARS looking for the fantastic MYTHICAL MOUNT MERMAIDS. You could stumble across BITS AND PIECES and be tended to by the HOSPITAL CASES. You could be SPELLBOUND by the WIZARDS or join the LADY AND THE TRAMP to watch the MORRIS DANCERS and the KIWI KILTS, or even play DOMINOES with ODDS AND EVENS. The sweet -smelling FLOWER POWER attracted the QUEEN BEES and the TWEEDY BIRDS.The 100 Acre Wood With the shy BEACH BUNNIES and the escaped animals from the ZOO, the scene was set for a fantastic day.Everyone, there was HOOKED ON BRIDGE, and played with the NON-STANDARD AMERICANS, who had no FRENCH CONNECTION. With the LUCK OF THE IRISH, the OPTIMISTS and the DES-P-RATS were hoping for success. To assist the BRIDGE ZONERS, along came the BRIDGE MATES and the PINK IMPs and with O MASTERPOINTS available, the MAD HATTERS mingled with the HEART THROBS. The food was fantastic everyone enjoying the LOLLY MIX. The whole affair could easily become a LEGEND! SIX OF THE BEST met TEAM BUGGER!! and came up against the RAINBOW REVOKERS and The WAIKATO BLUES and CHIN-NEW ZEALAND went from RAGS TO RICHES. It was a magical day enjoyed by all with everyone looking forward to next year.
