It's a Wrap for the WAPs

Lesley and SoniaThe sixth and final round of the Waikato Area Pairs was held at the Morrinsville club last Sunday the 5th of August. A cruisy 60 and a 52 were enough to hold onto top slot for Lesley Quilty and Sonia Crawford who claimed the sum of their ages to far exceed that of any other partnership in the room. Certainly these ladies have been at the forefront of the game for as long as most people can recall and it is awesome to see them still going strong.

The WAPs AGM was held at lunchtime and, after some discussion, it was agreed nothing much needed changing any time soon. After play we were treated to a couple of dozen pizzas and a glass of choice to wind up the series.
