WB RBM Busier Than Most

.. and not because we're in need of more help in the Waikato Bays region. Read on ..

Eunice EcclesEunice EcclesBoard member in charge of the Regional Bridge Mate project, Jane Stearns, reports that RBMs are physically able to give help to only two clubs in each Region each year. Because the health of the WB Region is better than most, the WB RBM, Eunice Eccles, is in fact going out to three clubs in the first year to help. The selection criteria applied to those clubs seeking assistance is on the NZB website. Using that the clubs of Kawerau, Rotorua and Omokoroa are being offered help this year. If this project continues every club in the country should receive an offer of hands on help within a six year period. It is physically impossible to reach everyone at once.

In the meantime, Eunice is also working to increase tournament numbers region-wide and promote interest in the Junior and Intermediate leagues.

The Draft Action Plan is the template that an RBM adapts for use with a club to develop a plan to boost membership. There is no reason that clubs cannot take advantage of this and adapt the plan for their needs and action things themselves now (as in immediately) without waiting for targetted help from an RBM. The first step is getting together to watch the Rejuvenating a Bridge Club video on YouTube.
