Free Entry to Congress Anyone?

To encourage people who aren't regular congress goers, the Waikato Bays Regional Committee are sponsoring up to four people to NZ Congress to the value of $200 each. You can either self nominate to go into the draw ... or your club can nominate worthy recipients. Check out Anna's blog on the Piako site.

It must be the season for Teams events as two signature events were completed recently - The Waikato InterClub Teams and The Spa Town Teams. Coming up on the 15th July we have The Hamilton Open Teams running alongside the fifth of nine legs of the WB Intermediate League.

Looking further around the region's websites we find an article on the Rotorua site celebrating the presentation of Pam Moore's Grand Master certificate. Taupo is offering follow-up seminars to Chief Director Murray Wiggins' presentation of the new laws that come into effect next month. President of the Te Awamutu club, Nick Cantlon has produced a fulsome newsletter on their site if you'd like to catch up with affairs there.

And - Great News to finish - the Tauranga site posts a link to a newspaper report of the European Court of Justice ruling what we've known all along - Bridge IS a Sport!!
