New Bridge Laws - get the word out there!

Thanks to Murray and Caroline Wiggins for their seminar today, educating our region's directors on The Laws of Duplicate Bridge 2017. These come into effect in New Zealand on 1 August, and there are a few changes from the 2007 Laws that we all need to be aware of.

Thanks also to all the directors who gave up their Sunday morning to come to the seminar. I forgot to do a head-count, but we had directors from Cambridge, Hamilton, Huntly, Katikati, Matamata, Mount Maunganui, Morrinsville, Putaruru, Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Te Aroha, Te Awamutu, Te Puke and Waihi.

We hope that clubs will now run similar seminars for their players so we can all be informed. If your club was not able to send any directors to the seminar, please ask a nearby club if they will be running a players seminar that you could attend. Or contact the region and we can arrange a director to run a seminar for you.

Murray will be making his powerpoint presentation and notes available to directors. For further information, see:
