The Thames Restricted was a seminal event for Heartland Bridge. Held at the Brown St rooms last Sunday it attracted 20 tables. Home club Thames was delighted to claim a top place in the Junior-Junior section.


Tauranga are highly chuffed that, with one session to go (at Te Awamutu on Oct-16), two of their members, Jan Johnstone and Melanie Rex are leading the Junior League while yet another pair, Christine and Jenna Gibbons are doing well in the World Champs in Wroclaw, Poland.
