Waikato Area Pairs Begins

Although not strictly a Waikato-Bays Regional event, the Waikato Area Pairs certainly involves at least half the region. It has its equivalent on the other side of The Hill in its sister event, the Bay Pairs. In recognition of the popularity of these two features in our local calendar these events now have their own sets of pages under the tab in the main menu above.

Under the management of Jane Stearns with able support from Anna Kalma the running of the six Waikato events has moved up a gear. There is an email list and a text list to remind people of upcoming events, question times after lunch where attendees can ask a panel of Grand Masters about points of play, a restructuring of the prizes, and in-depth reporting on this very website.
